Cannot create shortcut on desktop windows 7




















Are you the administrator on the computer? Have you tried creating the shortcut from the administrator account? Is windows defender enabled on the computer? Unfortunately performing system restore in your case will not assist in resolving the issue as the computer is brand new. I apologize I missed the information provided in the earlier post.
