Now up to date and contact software

At the end of the demo period, you can purchase a serial number direct from Now Software, or drop into your local software retailer to purchase a copy. You'll need to install this in order to view or print the documentation files we've included on this CD. In this folder you'll find Adobe Acrobat versions of each of the manuals included in the product box, as well as additional documentation containing hints and tips that you or others in your organization may find useful to help get the most out the software.

You are welcome to view or print all or part of this documentation for your individual use. Copies in whole or in part may be reproduced in quantity up to the number of software licenses purchased from Now Software. Beyond this, we ask that you do not reproduce it, or alter it for use in any other form without the express written consent of Now Software, Inc.

In the Disk "Images" folder, you'll find folders containing complete installer sets for each product. Each is formatted for easy conversion to diskette as a convenient alternative to this CD. Drag the contents of the folder labeled "Install Disk 1" to a blank high-density diskette.

Drag the contents of the folder labeled "Install Disk 2" to another blank high-density diskette. Do this for all the Install Disk folders. That's it! The diskettes are now ready to use to install Now Up-to-Date. Follow this same procedure for any of the installers you find on the CD. Now Software plans to automate this syncing process in a future release. It also ships with a program called Server Manager which, according to Now Software, allows you to host unlimited users on a single Mac or PC. While the main database is hosted on a server, users are able to indicate which of their calendar items or contacts are available for other users to view on the network.
